Guest's Choices #1 - Mike Saunders

Delinquent Habits – Return of the Tres

Quintessential Chicano music.  This is a twist on hip hop; somewhere in LA a group of low-riders are rollin’ down the street in slow motion.

Shyheim – Shoalin Style

East coast affiliate of Wu-tang clan, this guy started rapping as a teen with an unbroken voice and progressed to this.

Iration Steppas – What’s Wrong Dub

I love this track, it's a Leeds based dub duo Iration Steppas, whom I once saw in York and fell in love.

This liquid DnB track by Slovakian B-Complex has an amazing drop and a really chilled feel to it.   Great chill out music; the drop is at 1.28ish, but it is worth the build-up.

Triskaidekphobia – Nekromantix (What Happens in Hell, Stays in Hell)

This genre is called 'Psychobilly' its rock and roll/punk music, with a double bass banged and slapped to make a distinct rolling/rattling sound, which is really good live.  This is an all instrumental track that I love, but there are others with very distinct gravel-vocals which are good.
